The 2025 Chicago Sculpture Exhibit - Richard Hunt Award application is now open! CSE is pleased to offer this award in Richard Hunt's name to offer financial support to emerging or mid-career Chicagoland sculptors for a new artwork sited at a prominent location in the city. The award is part of CSE’s mission to encourage a broader range of artists to design and fabricate large-scale public sculpture.

Drawn from the the Amon Carter Museum’s holdings, Richard Hunt: From Paper to Metal highlights the artist’s prints produced at the Tamarind Lithography Workshop during a residency in 1965 and a newly-acquired sculpture, Natural Form, created in Hunt’s signature direct-welded metal technique.

The exhibition runs from October 12, 2024 through March 2, 2025.
